Privacy without the faff.

How Billdar collects, uses, protects, and deletes your information.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Billdar is operated by BaleTechHQ. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Billdar mobile application.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Billdar, we may process:

Billdar does not ask for or store your online-banking password, PIN, or security codes.

2. How we use information

3. Legal bases

Where UK data-protection law applies, we generally process information because it is necessary to provide the service you request, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing Billdar, or because you have given consent where consent is required.

4. Service providers

Billdar uses trusted service providers to operate the app. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and cloud services, and Google Play for app distribution and any future in-app billing. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

5. Open Banking

Billdar does not currently provide live Open Banking access in this release. If this feature is introduced later, this policy and the app will be updated before live financial-account data is processed. Any connection would require your explicit authorisation through an appropriately regulated provider.

6. Payments

If paid features are introduced through Google Play, payment processing will be handled by Google. Billdar will not receive or store your full payment-card details.

7. Data retention

Account and subscription data is kept while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. When a valid deletion request is completed, associated personal data will be deleted or anonymised unless retention is legally required.

8. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords and devices.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

10. Children's privacy

Billdar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Billdar changes. The date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
